DECEMBER 28, 2017 – JANUARY 28, 2018

Hudson, NY – December 27, 2017. Inky Editions presents UIOWA PRINT, a survey of prints and fresh perspectives from current students at the M.F.A. Printmaking program at the University of Iowa.

The printmaking program at the University program ranks among the best in the country. Being part of the School of Art and Art History the program places an emphasis in scholarship and historical concepts, as well as previous and current technical developments in the art of Print. The works displayed range in techniques from intaglio and relief to silkscreen and lithography. Additional techniques that were developed in the program - such as hot stamped foil through the press, are also integrated and result in exciting new works.

Works by artists: Mary Claire Becker, Abbey Blake, Connor Colvill, Sophie Isaak, Jake Lee, Andrew Mullally, Elizabeth Powell, Dayon Royster, and Cameron York.

Works selected by Kimberly Datchuk.
