From Kathe Kollwitz and the German Expressionists to more controlled and colorful like Alex Katz, these relief mediums continue to be popular with artists. Visual artist, sculptor and printmaker Kingsley Parker is back with Inky Editions, teaching both beginners and experienced students from carving to printing.

The first two weeks concentrate on linoleum work. The second two weeks in March, students will use type-high woodcut; cutting, printing, and reduction printing. In addition, combining linoleum, and woodcut together, and how to register color will give attendants what they need to print their blocks.

Kingsley Parker and Karla Roberts run Garage Editions, a letterpress shop in Hudson. Kingsley studied printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and received an MFA from Hunter College.
