Polyester Plates: Draw & Print! - June 3, 2017

Saturday, June 3 (12:30-4:30pm)

With Terry James Conrad

$86 (online payment)

$80 (by check payment)

Polyester plates are direct, inexpensive and efficient. They are also a wonderful material to use in order to produce drawings and print editions, on a press. We will dig into the process by drawing with sharpie, ballpoint pen and shellac. With very little processing of the plates, we will ink-up the drawing directly on polyester and make multiples fast!!!

The course will cover drawing, inking up the plates, printing the plates, registration and tips to make the process smooth.

Please Bring: Bic or Paper Mate ball-point pens, black sharpies and a drawing to work from.

Materials Fee:  $10 (covers 6 sheets of 8,5 x 11 Stonehenge paper, inks etc)

Image: Untitled (Man obscured by something) by Michael Van Winkle, polyester print, 8,5x11 inches.
