Membership Information & Studio Use

Inky Editions is an interdisciplinary art studio with an emphasis on non-toxic printmaking. The 5,000 square foot space is equipped for intaglio related processes, relief, and monotype. The general studio space having ceiling heights in excess of 20’ can accommodate artists working in 2-D on a large scale as well as using the space to produce, stage, and photograph large installations and art works.
Studio use is for members only. Anyone can become a member regardless of prior experience. There are different levels of membership with specific benefit. Membership fees are annual and must be up to date in order to use the studio.

Studio Membership ($50) is for artists and art lovers who want to make their work, explore new techniques, and work in a communal studio setting. For your annual Studio Membership you will receive:
—Access to the studio during open access hours
—Inclusion in the annual studio member’s exhibition
—Discounts on classes
—Inclusion in the studio flat files for public viewing and sale
—Discounts on gallery rental
Gallery Membership ($250) is for art enthusiasts that are interested in conversations with artists and curators and may dabble in the studio. For your annual Gallery membership you will receive all of the benefits o the Studio Membership as well as:
—Invitations to private pre-opening exhibition receptions with the artists and curators present
—10% discount on artworks for sale
—Invitation to exhibition planning meetings
Inky Partner Memberships ($500) are for people who know just how difficult it is to maintain an open access studio for artists, and appreciate the contribution that art spaces provide to the local culture and economy. Inky Partner Members receive all of the benefits of the Gallery Membership as well as:
—Early walk through annual members exhibition with first look opportunities to purchase
—Invitation to exhibiting artist and guest printer dinners
—Annual Inky Partner cocktail party in the studio with a surprise guest
Printmaking is at the core of what we do at Inky Editions. The collaborative nature of the process and unlimited creative po-tential in the medium are what inspired us to open the studio. There are three ways to use the printmaking equipment at Inky Editions, open access, private use, and classes.
The printmaking studio is open for general use Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 6pm. Open access is pay by the hour for studio members. Hours are purchased before working and can be used in any increment, on any day. All unused hours expire one year after the date of purchase. The following blocks of hours can be purchased at any time.
Full Day 8 hours $60 $7.5/hr
Week 40 hours $250 $6.25/hr
Month 120 hours $660 $5.5/hr
Studio Saver 180 hours $720 $4/hr
